The twos had a very tactile experience this week. I mixed up cornstarch,baking soda

and water to make a dough to work with. This substance was dry and wet alternately.

It was always changing ,therefore engaging them continually. Children who don't usually enjoy

getting their hands "messy" loved it. It looked gooey and sticky, but they were surprised when it

was not. We will cook the substance next week and find out what happpens.
